A Little about the Artisit - Pete Pascoe – Artist and Musician
Originally from New Zealand, Pete moved to Melbourne, Australia in 1997 to realise ambitions of releasing his music and forwarding his career in art and music.
A multi-talented and accomplished creative person, Pete has a wide range of music, drawing, and painting styles. For his cartoons Pete paints and draws original images of animals taking part in human endeavours. These cartoons are produced in watercolour/pen and acrylic mediums.
Pete illustrated a series of books, featuring a purple flying pig - "A Pig Called Pete", “A Cat Called Kitty”, “A Dog Called Doug”, “A Cow Called Carlotta” and “A Sheep Called Sean”, and “The Day The Chooks Blew Away” – all written by Alan Bowater.
Pete has also illustrated for web books and a children’s book for the Honey Farm in Tasmania.
